Children & Teens
Art therapy supports children & youth to express their thoughts and feelings through art. Interventions are responsive to their developmental level. The combined processes of art and evidence-based talk therapy approaches make therapy creatively engaging.
I offer support for those impacted by concerns such as:
Anger, impulse control, body image/disordered eating, friendship struggles, bullying, grief/loss, trauma, developmental life transitions such as puberty, going to a new school, moving, identity, family changes/ separation, divorce.
Support for people living with a physical or mental health condition.
My approach is responsive to my client’s needs and goals but is always strengths-based, guided by attachment theory and child & youth development. I also use techniques from CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
I am currently accepting clients aged 8+.
Please note: if your child receives care from me in the public sector (at a school), I am unable to accept them as a client in my private practice. Thanks for understanding.

An art therapist can help you navigate:
Life stages: young adult, prenatal or postpartum adjustment, return to work, parenting, peri/menopause, retirement.
Strain, stress, burnout: nurses or health care workers, caregivers, relationships.
Significant life changes: emotional support and coping during physical illness such as cancer or end-of-life care.
Traumatic experiences, grief and loss.
I am currently accepting clients. Book a consult or virtual appointment.
Community Health
I offer evidence-based therapeutic programs and Art Hives to promote sense of belonging and community connectedness.
“Any treatment that helps people calmly observe themselves and calmly understand what’s going on inside is terribly important.”
